We will advise you on the best way to promote your
business on the internet. You may need a large website, or a small one,
you may need online sales, or online bookings. You are always assured of
our best advice, whatever your business needs may be.
- Design
Your website is yours, and while we will be
pleased to make design suggestions, you are in charge of your own project.
We will do for you what is do-able. If it's not, we'll tell you.
- Implementation
This is the stage at which we construct and test the
website, keeping you informed of progress, and making changes as you
require.
- Hosting & Domain Names (web address)
Your internet site needs to be visible 24/7. MorpethNet
uses a local company, Valiant Internet Services, of Sunderland (www.valiant.co.uk)
for domain name services and the hosting of your website. Alternatively,
we will work happily with the domain/hosting company of your choice.
- Updates
Your website may need periodic updates. This can be
arranged in the way most economic for you. We will either cost update jobs
as they come along, or negotiate an annual/monthly update contract.
- E-commerce
If you wish to sell goods online by credit card, or if
you wish to take online bookings, we normally recommend Roman Cart (www.romancart.com)
or Eviivo (www.eviivo.com)
The use of either service will incur additional fees.

The Costs:
- FREE Web Design:
Yes, we're serious. If you are a registered charity or
a non-profit organisation in the Morpeth area, we will set up your website
FREE OF CHARGE. All you pay is any domain name/hosting costs. Of course
there are limitations on who is eligible, and the nature of the website,
but it doesn't hurt to ask.
- Design and Implementation
Hosting and domain name costs for even quite a large
website are normally under £50.00pa. The first year will normally be
included in your setup invoice. Subsequent years are normally invoiced
direct to you.
When setting up a website, the most expensive page is the first page. A
small, simple page can be as little as £50 to design and set up. A
five-page site can come in at under £200.
