There are events of all kinds to look forwards to - cultural, entertaining, charity coffee mornings, bands, concerts, fashion shows. Every effort is made to include as many events as possible, but we can only include what we know about. So sign up your event as soon as possible - as far ahead as you like.

Wed 1 June 10am – 2pm (2 hours) 
RAFT BUILDING – Bolam Lake Country Park 
Work as a team to build your own raft and then try to sail it. This event is for children 8 – 12 years who can swim. Bring a change of clothes and shoes to get wet in. All safety equipment provided. Payment required when booking.

BOLAM CHALLENGE 2 – Bolam Lake Country Park 
A challenging event for the 12 – 13s, involving problem solving, ropes and gorge crossing. Barbeque included. Bring suitable clothing and footwear to get wet in. Payment required on booking.

Northumberland Triathlon Festival 
Druridge Bay County Park once again plays host to the 2nd Northumberland Triathlon Festival. 
SATURDAY 17 JUNE at 4pm sees the One Life Kids Duathlon (run/bike/run ages 8 -16)then at 6pm the North East Aquathlon Championships take place (swim/run age 16+). On the Saturday Evening ther will be a barbeque, presentations for the days events plus camping. 
SUNDAY 18 JUNE at 9 am sees the start of the Morpeth Triathlon (swim/bike/run)

A weekend of nostalgia as Belsay plays host to a variety of vintage buses. Carefully conserved these buses ill bring back many motoring memories from the 50’s and the 60’s. A great day out for Fathers Day.

A LAKE A TOWER & A MONASTERY – Bolam Lake Country Park 
This popular event joins the Buddhist monks of Harnharm and countryside staff for a walk through the Bolam landscape ending with a visit to the monastery. Unfortunately not suitable for children. Wear stout footwear. 
Cost: Free (donations accepted at the monastery). Grade: Medium
Woodlands and Mammal Day in Carlisle Park 
In association with the Friends of Carlisle Park, come along to discover even more about our local mammals from bats to red squirrels to badgers and otters. Also try your hand at traditional woodland crafts. Information, activities and all round family fun.
