Bat Survey and Walk in Scotch Gill Woods 
Join the rangers to look for bats in Scotch Gill wood Local Nature Reserve. Find out about bat lifestyle and help hunt for an elusive bat root. Electronic Bat detectors will be used to discover which species are using the reserve. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, and remember your torches!

A Walk in the Woods 
A walk in the woods, from Bothal to Carlisle Park. To correspond with the Tree Council’s aim to get people out into our ancient woodlands. Take a healthy stroll with the rangers to find out more about the woodlands in the area.
