Though the castle is
probably the highest point in Morpeth, it is well tucked away, and takes a bit
of finding.
The keep, ruined for years, has recently been
converted into luxury holiday flats, so it isn't open to the public, but
climbing from Carlisle Park to the Castle will keep you fit.
