The main entrance to
the park is across the Elliott bridge. The portico is part of the recent
refurbishment of the park, funded by Heritage Lottery and organised by Morpeth's
Parks Manager.
The project caused a fair amount of chaos and
disruption in the park, but has been well worth it.
