Morpeth Fair Day,
June 11th
The sun shone on Morpeth
Fair this year, which was so much appreciated by both visitors and the
organisers. For the 21st fair, a crowd of close to 30,000 turned out
to enjoy all the Fun of the Fair, the Continental Market, an
exceptional selection of stalls, and the widest variety of
entertainment yet put on.
The Chamber of Trade
always puts on a fair which Morpeth can be proud of, and congratulations
are due once more to Tony Osborne and his hard-working team.

Back Riggs / Sanderson's Arcade. Proposed
redevelopment.
The planning application for the proposed Sanderson's Arcade and
Back Riggs redevelopment has been approved, and construction work is
scheduled to begin in the new year.
